Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Gluten-free, Low-FODMAP, Paleo, Raw, Vegan

Some morning I just want and need something that is quick and easy to make but is tasty and satisfying. Two of my favorite foods are peanut butter and bananas and they complement each other so well! I created this simple smoothie recipe to combine those ingredients. The raw cacao nibs provide a crunch and the cinnamon, a dash of spice!

Serves 2
Prep Time: 5 mins
Equipment: food processor or blender

  1. Break up the bananas into pieces and place them in a food processor or a blender. Add the crunchy peanut butter, the almond milk, and ice cubes. Blend together until well-combined. Pour it into a tall glass or bowl and add the cocoa nibs and a dash of cinnamon. Enjoy!
      • 4 large bananas
      • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
      • 1/2 cup almond or coconut milk
      • 5 ice cubes
      • Top with:
        • Cacao nibs
        • Dash of cinnamon

Tip: You can also use frozen bananas instead of or in addition to ice cubes.
